This article is written to educate those of you that are divided on purchasing an alarm system to protect your family. Recently in my family my house was broken into when I wasn’t at home. Fortunately I have an Alarm Systems with monitoring. The alarm systems didn’t stop the burglars from breaking into my home, however it did contact the authorities and sounded and alarm. When the alarm was sounded it was loud enough to alert the neighbors. Two of my neighbors looked out their windows and noticed a suspicious van parked in my driveway. With in five or ten minutes a police car showed up and apprehended the burglars.
The point of this article is to show you that alarm systems have more the one point of defense against burglars. The first point of defense was contacting the authorities, and the second point of defense was alerting neighbors. More often then not when the siren sounds the burglars will run for safety. The desperate ones will stay and roll the dice.
